プロフィール（佐藤　健一教授）


1976年東京大学工学部電子工学科卒，1978年同大学院工学研究科電子工学専門課程修士課程終了．日本電信電話公社横須賀電気通信研究所入所．1985年 British Telecom Research Laboratories 交換研究員，1999年NTT未来ねっと研究所フォトニックトランスポートネットワーク研究部部長，2004年NTT R&D フェロー，2004年 4月　名古屋大学大学院教授（電子情報システム専攻），現在に至る．工学博士．

研究歴


・1978年 - 1985年　NTT伝送システム研究所基幹伝送研究部　

　光ファイバ伝送系雑音特性の解析、光ファイバアナログ画像伝送システム、CATV分配システム、光加入者系伝送システム等の研究。世界で初めて半導体レーザを用いた多モード光ファイバによる長距離アナログ画像伝送に成功．

・1985年 - 1992年　NTT伝送システム研究所伝送処理研究部　

　ATMをベースとするブロードバンドネットワークの研究。バーチャルパス（VP: Virtual Path）の概念を1987年に提案。1990年に世界標準となる．ATM伝達レイヤ構造、 ATMネットワークアーキテクチャ、ネットワークリソースマネージメント、ネットワーク可変制御、ネットワークリストレーション技術（VPセルフヒーリング技術）、ATM網QoS設計、ATM網トラヒックコントロール、等の研究．

・1992年 - 1999年　伝送システム研究所／光ネットワークシステム研究所

　1992年に世界に先駆け波長（可変）パスの概念を提案。フォトニックトランスポートネットワークに関し、アーキテクチャ、ネットワーク設計（波長パス収容設計アルゴリズム）、ハードウエアシステム（光クロスコネクト／ADM システム等）、ネットワークオペレーション、IP オーバーフォトニックネットワーク、次世代マルチメディアトランスポートネットワーク、等の研究に従事。

・1999年 - 2004年　未来ねっと研究所　フォトニックトランスポートネットワーク研究部

　フォトニックトランスポートネットワークの研究開発並びに研究マネージメントに従事。特にフォトニックIPルータの研究開発を推進。2001年に世界初の超大容量フォトニックMPLSルータの試作に成功．GMPLSプロトコル，次世代バーストトランスポートネットワークの研究開発に従事．

・2004年 - 現在　名古屋大学

　次世代IPネットワーク，フォトニックネットワーク，ネットワークアーキテクチャ，トラフィックエンジニアリング，フォトニックバーストネットワーク,次世代通信プロトコル等の研究開発．
